Marilyn M. Hinrichs, Au.D., CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Hinrichs was born and raised in Dallas. She has worked with the hearing impaired community since 1976, beginning as an interpreter in the Dallas school district. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University in 1992. She went on to complete her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas in 1994. In September 1995, Dr. Hinrichs opened Advanced Hearing Center and began a life-long dream of helping the hearing-impaired. Dr. Hinrichs also received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2001. She has a great desire to help people with hearing loss so they can communicate easier and enjoy the sounds of life that are so important to our daily activities. Her determination and open heart has encouraged our team to continuously provide charitable contributions to less fortunate children in the Dallas area. She continues to donate her time fitting hearing aids and providing audiological services to these children so that they are able to learn and develop speech and language skills normally. Dr. Hinrichs resides in the Dallas area and enjoys reading, working out, traveling and spending time with her family and her dogs.

Rachel Hinrichs, HIS Trainee
Director of Operations

Rachel HinrichsRachel has been with the practice since 1997 and is our director of operations. Over the years, she has worked adamantly to help the practice grow. Rachel grew up in Richardson and graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 1995. She attended Richland College for two years and decided to take an 18-month distance-learning course on medical claims and billing. She completed the course and received a diploma as a Medical Claims and Billing Specialist. She is the core to our insurance operations and maintains all of our contracts with health insurance companies. Rachel is currently working on obtaining her permanent state certification and license to fit and dispense hearing aids. She is focused on the relationship between hearing loss and hearing aid technology. Rachel is enthusiastic about helping the hearing-impaired and contributing her knowledge and skills to the practice in various ways. She also provides ongoing training for the entire staff, assists with the marketing, oversees accounting and handles all insurance billing at the practice. As Dr. Hinrichs daughter, Rachel is an integral part of the Advanced Hearing Center team. Rachel currently resides in a suburb of Dallas with her husband and her three dogs. She enjoys reading, playing cards, going to the movies, spending time with family and friends and decorating her newly built house.

Ladan Nozari, B.A.
Audiology Doctoral Resident

Ladan Nozari, B.A.Ladan is state board certified and licensed in Audiology and has been with our practice since January 2008. In 1999, she received her Bachelor of Art in Speech and Language Pathology degree in Tehran. Ladan is currently finishing her 4th year clinical residency of the doctoral program from The University of North Texas in Denton. She has experience working as a hearing aid technician at UNT for the past three years and has also spent many hours during that time at local facilities obtaining hands on training with patients. She is dedicated in providing state-of-the-art hearing health care services to our patients and has contributed a lot of valuable skill to our practice. She is also fluent in speaking Persian and Turkish. Ladan is a proud resident of Frisco and her free time is filled with the joys of being part of a loving family.

Chelsea Ledezma
Front Office / Marketing

Chelsea joined our staff in July 2006. She quickly made a positive impact on this office by learning the daily operations of the practice and is now a member of our marketing team. Chelsea grew up in Irving and graduated from MacArthur High School in 2003. She is currently enrolled at Collin County Community College working towards a degree in business and marketing. Chelsea currently spends most of her time at AHC educating and raising awareness of patients suffering with hearing loss to local physicians. She is determined to provide information to doctors and their staff on the importance of hearing screenings and how hearing loss can affect patients daily lives. She also assists with many other marketing projects. Chelsea resides in Dallas and spends her time playing tennis, reading and writing poetry, working out, listening to music and playing with her dog.

Paige Walker
Front Office Staff

Paige WalkerPaige has been with the practice since March 2008 starting off as receptionist and now assists in the accounting department. She was raised in Wylie and graduated from Wylie High School in 2006. Following graduation, she enrolled at Collin County Community College in Plano and is completing her basic courses. Paige spends most of her time in the office getting insurance claims processed correctly, dealing with collection accounts and assisting with various other tasks throughout the office. She has been a wonderful addition at the practice and is dedicated to making sure patients pay the least out-of-pocket expense for services. Paige has hobbies such as playing tennis and softball. She spends most of her time outside of work with her loving son.

Shannon White
Receptionist

Shannon recently joined this practice in October 2008 as the front office receptionist. She grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Texas about 7 years ago. She has several years of experience working in the medical field, including pediatrics and several surgery centers. She holds a very important position at our practice, as she is the first person to greet patients on the phone and in person. Shannon is also responsible for scheduling patient appointments, facilitating referrals, verifying insurance benefits and maintaining accurate patient medical records. She is very friendly and eager to make sure patients are happy with their experience at our office. Shannon resides in Frisco with her husband, son and loving dogs. She spends her free time going to church and doing family activities.

Olivia Causey
Front Office Staff

Olivia works part-time at AHC after school each day, during holiday breaks and during the summer break through the work program at her high school. She is responsible for filing medical records and patient charts, mailing out patient correspondence, answering phones and assisting with other front office tasks. She has really helped keep the patient charts and the front office organized.
