Marilyn M. Hinrichs, Au.D., CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology

Marilyn HinrichsDr. Hinrichs graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University and went on to complete her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Hinrichs obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. In September 1995, Dr. Hinrichs opened Advanced Hearing Center and began a life-long dream of helping the hearing-impaired community. She has a great desire to help people with hearing loss so they can communicate easier and enjoy the sounds of life that are so important to our daily activities. Her determination and open heart has encouraged our team to continuously provide charitable contributions to less fortunate children in the Dallas area. She continues to donate her time fitting hearing aids and providing audiological services to these children so that they are able to learn and develop speech and language skills normally. Dr. Hinrichs was born and raised in the Dallas area. She enjoys reading, working out, traveling and spending time with her family and her dogs.

Jamie L. King, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology

Jamie King Dr. King joined the audiology team in 2009. Dr. King completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas and went on to graduate summa cum laude with her Doctor of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Dr. King is dedicated in providing state-of-the-art hearing health care services to patients and has contributed many valuable skills to this practice. Dr. King was raised in west Texas and her free time is spent with her loving son and husband. Prior to joining Advanced Hearing Center, Dr. King worked for an otolaryngology practice in the Dallas area. She focused on performing hearing evaluations on newborns to senior adults, as well as cochlear implant candidates. She also assisted patients with bone anchored hearing aids. Dr. King was raised in Texas and her free time is spent with her loving son and husband.

Marc Gracia
Licensed Audiology Intern

Marc Gracia Marc is licensed as an audiology intern to practice audiology in the state of Texas through the Texas Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. He has been with our practice since January 2011. In 2008, he graduated cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology degree and a minor in Spanish from The University of North Texas. Marc is currently completing his 4th year clinical residency of the doctoral program from The University of North Texas in Denton. He has experience working with cochlear implant and hearing aid patients in private audiology clinics and ENT practices throughout the Dallas area. He has also been a guest lecturer on several occasions regarding topics such as hearing aids, hearing assistive technology and physiology of the inner ear at The University of North Texas. Marc enjoys spending his free time with his children and family.

Rachel Garcia
Executive Director

Rachel GarciaRachel has been with the practice since 1997 and has worked adamantly to help the practice grow over the years. She is the core to our insurance operations and maintains all of the contracts with health insurance companies. Rachel is currently working on obtaining her permanent state certification and license to fit and dispense hearing aids. She is focused on the relationship between hearing loss and hearing aid technology. Rachel is enthusiastic about helping the hearing-impaired community and contributing her knowledge and skills to the practice in various ways. She also provides ongoing training for the entire staff, assists with marketing projects, oversees accounting and handles all insurance billing at the practice. Rachel grew up in Richardson and currently resides in a suburb of Dallas with her husband and three dogs. She enjoys reading, going to the movies, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jason Hinrichs
Accountant

Jason Hinrichs Jason joined the AHC team in 2010 as the staff accountant. He graduated magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Management from The University of Texas at Dallas. He has previously worked as an accountant at several Dallas based corporate offices. Jason is responsible for billing, collections, resolving insurance claim issues and accounts payable. He grew up in Richardson and enjoys working out, playing golf and spending time with his friends and family.

Tim Stroup, B.S.
Director of Marketing

Tim Stroup Tim joined our staff as the marketing director in the beginning of 2010. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He has worked in the audiology field for over 5 years as a regional business manager for a well-known industry practice management company. Currently, Tim has been a great asset to the practice by educating and raising awareness of patients suffering with hearing loss to local physicians. His energetic and creative style, along with personal knowledge of hearing loss, gives him the determination to be heard by doctors and their staff on the importance of hearing screenings and how hearing loss can affect patients daily lives. He also spends his time handling other company marketing projects. Tim was born and raised in Houston, Texas and recently relocated to the Dallas area to advance his career. He spends most of his spare time following sports, working out and taking care of his pets.

Shannon White
Front Office Supervisor

Shannon White Shannon joined the practice in 2008 and has many years of experience working with patients in the medical field, including pediatrics and several surgery centers. She holds a very important position at the practice, as she is responsible for performing industrial hearing screenings, making sure all front office tasks are completed daily and she provides continuous training for all other front office staff. She is very friendly and eager to make sure patients are happy with their experience at this office. Shannon grew up in Oklahoma and spends her free time going to church and doing family activities with her son and husband.

Chelsea Ledezma
Front Office / Marketing Coordinator

Chelsea Ledezma Chelsea joined the practice in 2006. She quickly made a positive impact on this office by learning the daily operations of the practice and is also a member of our marketing team. Chelsea currently spends most of her time at Advanced Hearing Center performing industrial hearing screenings, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling patients and assisting with various other tasks throughout the office. She also assists with many marketing projects. Chelsea grew up in Irving and spends her time playing tennis, reading and writing poetry, working out, and spending time with her son.

Cherye Forbush
Front Office / Marketing

Cherye Forbush Cherye is one of the newest members of our team at AHC. She has extended experience in the medical field working with cardiology pediatric patients and psychiatric patients. Cherye is responsible for performing industrial hearing screenings, patient scheduling, facilitating referrals, verifying insurance benefits, maintaining accurate patient medical records and assisting with other front office tasks. Cherye grew up in Richardson and enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her husband and son.

Nick Garcia
Front Office / Marketing

Nick Garcia Nick joined the AHC marketing team in 2011. He is responsible for assisting with coordinating industrial hearing screenings with corporate locations throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth areas, assisting the front office staff with patient charts and filing, and keeping the office and off site storage facilities organized and stocked. Nick grew up in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and originally relocated to Dallas for a management position with a Dallas based company. He enjoys playing golf, practicing target shooting with firearms and spending time with his dogs and wife.
